Temporary Employees of Municipalities demand advertisement of posts | KNO

BHADERWAH,JAN 13 (KNO) : Today an emergency meeting of temporary employees of Municipal Committee Bhaderwah was held here today under the chairmanship of its president Birjesh Yogi in which various issues related to their fraternity were discussed. In the meeting yogi highlighted various issues of employees are serving in different wings of municipalities from the last many years under unskilled, skilled and highly skilled categories,but till date government has taken no action for their permanent absorption on the posts.He retreated that some candidates are unskilled and some are highly educated and technically professionals and are performing their technical duties up to their best in their concerned municipalities. He appealed the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Dy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh who is Housing and Urban development minister and Commissioner secretary Housing and Urban Development Department and director Urban Local Bodies Jammu to advertise vacant posts of different wings of Municipalities and first preference should be given to those who are already serving in municipalities for the last many years.Temporary employees also urged upon the government to frame regularization policy for Municipality employees also on the pattern of other workers (KNO)
